Design identity and communication

Project Brief

Magnus, an enterprise IT infrastructure service provider, was a relatively new brand in the Qatar market. With a vision of becoming a leading provider of IT and Telecom products & services in the country, Magnus wanted to establish a distinct brand identity that could appeal to sector-wide businesses.

The ask was to develop a personality for the brand through minimalistic communication.

The Challenge

The main challenge facing Magnus was to stand out among the competition and establish a unique brand personality that would resonate with businesses in the enterprise infrastructures space.

The Solution

etc. studied the brand requirements and focused on Magnus’ strengths: solutioning, service, and symmetry. The design communication was built on the idea of ‘symmetry,' a critical element in shaping enterprise infrastructures.

etc. developed a new identity for Magnus, with a symmetrical representation of the letter ‘M’. The logomark was designed to reflect the brand's focus on symmetry while also being minimalistic and modern.

Development of Collaterals

To build on the new brand identity, etc. developed corporate stationery and formal materials that reflected Magnus’ brand colours, typography, and personality. The final product was a cohesive set of materials that established the brand's identity and communicated their strengths effectively.

Conclusion

Through the collaboration with etc., Magnus was successful in rebranding itself as a distinct and recognizable brand in the enterprise IT infrastructure space.

The new brand identity reflected Magnus’ strengths in solutioning, service, and symmetry, while the minimalistic communication appealed to sector-wide businesses. The final product, including the new logo, corporate stationery, and formal materials, established a cohesive brand identity for Magnus in 2021 and beyond.
